5 yearsI got a call supposedly from "the headquarters" of some "main trading hub" in London, but I’m actually in Copenhagen, Denmark. There’s loads of noise like a big party going on in the background, and the line is so bad it’s really hard to make out what she’s saying. I told her I have nothing to do with this trading centre she’s talking about, but then she tries to claim I have an account with some company linked to it. When I asked for specifics, she couldn’t say what company she worked for or which one my so-called account was with. I don’t have any trading accounts anywhere, so it all felt a bit dodgy. When I said I didn’t want to continue the conversation, she suddenly turned all threatening, saying stuff like, “Madam, you are speaking with the headquarters, do you realise how serious this is?” That’s when I just ended the call.
