What a scam artist! I work in fraud prevention at a bank, so I could spot the signs right away. When they rang me at half ten at night, they had the audacity to address me as "Kay," completely bypassing my full name, Kayleigh, or even my surname. Immediately, I was suspicious. The caller claimed to be from my mobile provider, but any legitimate representative would have identified the company. Then, he mentioned something ridiculous about calls made from my number to an 0845 number, racking up a bill of £200.45. I couldn’t help but chuckle. I straightaway told him to try his luck elsewhere and cut the call, as I knew he'd next attempt to extract my payment information. ***Scammer alert. NEVER share your details!***
