Definately a scam, just like many others I got this call. When some woman answered I just hung up, hope I ended up wasting their time, chatting to no one haha.

Got a call looking for someone with a name kinda like mine, but definitely wasn’t me, plus the gender was way off. Then they started going on about some Christmas 'investments' and tried to put me through to a 'specialist'. Pretty clear it was a scam.

Got a call from this really rude lady who couldn’t even pronounce my name properly (and it’s not hard to say!). She started blabbering about some “information call” but I told her I wasn’t interested. When she asked why, I just said I’m not keen on people trying to sell me stuff. She got all snappy and said I wasn’t paying attention. I quickly ended the call before she could go on with more nonsense. Definitely way too pushy and smells like a scam to me.

I've blocked them but they keep ringing anyway!!

Some woman called saying her name was Emma Johnson and claimed it was an info call. She told me I’d signed up through some banner ad, which I’m certain I never did. When I asked her to take me off their list, she got really nasty and said she had more important stuff to do than that. Refused to say which company she was with and just told me to unsubscribe through my emails. Definitely wouldn’t bother talking to them again.

Got a call about trading, kept getting passed around even after i said i'm not interested. The caller was really pushy, saying stuff like "Why would you not want to make more money, it’s daft not to be interested." When i asked to have my details deleted under GDPR, they flat out refused and said it's not law, plus they claimed to have my info request on file. They were super rude, sarcastic and wouldn't even let me get a word in, just kept interrupting me.

Like a few others here, I picked up and got passed onto a different woman after the first caller said I’d signed up for info about online trading, which I told them I had never done, not even years ago. The second lady said their firm was S L First Service, but when I looked it up, it said it was dormant. I kept telling her I wasn’t interested in any online trading and asked her loads of times to delete my info since it’s a GDPR breach, but she reckoned GDPR didn’t apply anymore because of Brexit. Quite annoying!

Received a call today, and they appeared to know my name right off the bat. They began chatting about online trading and bitcoin, which I simply wasn’t keen on. Picked up the phone and got transferred to a lady called Cindy. She was really forceful and said I’d registered with their online trading firm, which I definitely hadn’t. When I denied it, she reckoned I must have accidentally clicked on something on social media. I asked for the company’s name and she said “SL First Service LTD”. I told her I’m not into trading and don’t have extra cash anyway. She kept pushing, saying I was daft for not wanting to grow my money - clearly preying on folks struggling financially. Obvious scam! Stay well clear!

A company called 'Online Trading' rang me claiming I signed up by clicking one of their banner ads. I told them to take my phone off their call list and the person replied, 'I'm in marketing, why on earth would I take you off our list?' When I said it was against the law to keep calling me after asking to be removed, they just hung up. Quite frustrating!

Got a call from this number on my phone, which I hardly ever share. They claimed to be from a trading firm and said I’d shown interest in them, which I definitely haven’t. They were a bit persistent, but I’m usually quite firm, so the call ended on a polite note.

I think it was some kind of trading scam. I suffer from serious anxiety, so I’m always careful with unknown numbers. Weirdly, they already knew my name, but the woman on the phone spoke so fast and unclearly it was hard to follow. She was quite abrupt and rude, and when I asked where she got my number from and told her to take my details off their list, she got defensive and shut me down, saying because they’re an international company it’s totally legal for them to have my info. Felt really sketchy and unsettling.

I received a phone call from a woman who insisted on using my full name while discussing 'trading and marketing' services. When I inquired about her company, she flatly refused to disclose that information. Upon requesting my name and number to be taken off their list, she became quite abrasive, questioning my wish to opt-out as if I were the one who had signed up for this. The exchange escalated with her becoming increasingly hostile, prompting me to ask for her supervisor. In response, she coldly stated that we “clearly weren’t going to see eye to eye” before abruptly terminating the call. I'm left wondering how they even managed to get my personal information!

Beware of this dodgy information scam! I picked up the phone, and when I requested to converse in French, the caller responded rather snidely, questioning whether I'd had a few too many drinks. To top it off, she remarked on my temperament, suggesting that I was clearly grumpy. She then claimed she would ring me again when I might be more cheerful. Absolutely ridiculous!

Got a call about online trading, they asked if I was still trading and I said no. Then they put me through to another person who asked the same thing, I said no again. Then they asked why I said yes earlier, which I never did. They just kept rambling on about trading before I hung up.

FRAUD ALERT! Better not pick up! 😠😠😠

Got a call this morning. Thought it was someone I was waiting on so I called back, but then worked out it was a scam, so I just ended the call. Fingers crossed nothing comes of it.

Someone rang me claiming to be from ‘Online Markets’ and even called me by my nickname. Not sure how they managed to get my number! I told them they had the wrong person but they just kept going, so I ended the call. Blocked them right away!

Got a call from these guys outta nowhere, talking about some finance stuff. They wouldn’t say who they were or the company, or even where they got my details from. Just kept dodging my questions with some rehearsed lines. Definitely seemed like a dodgy scam to me.

I didn’t pick up and there was no voicemail left, so I’m guessing it was just one of those spam calls.

I received a call from someone who seemed to know my name, claiming they had some 'new insights into marketing' to share. However, when I probed them about how they obtained my phone number, they were completely nonsensical and dodged the question entirely. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call from someone who sounded like they knew me, using my name and all. Told them I wasn’t interested but they just wouldn’t quit, kept pushing. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number. Don’t bother answering if it rings!

They refused to say the company name, just mentioned they were involved in trading.

Number I didn’t recognise, it hung up as soon as I picked up.

Got a right rude person on the line, sounded proper shocked I wasn’t up for online trading and seemed well confused when I said I wanted my phone number removed from their list.

Definitely a scam. I reckon they must have grabbed my info from some bitcoin trading site I was checking out.

Just like everyone else, they claimed I’d registered for bitcoin and that’s how they got my number. Got really rude when I told them I wasn’t interested. Best not to answer if this number rings you.

Dodgy caller. They know your name and will try to trick you into thinking you actually agreed to it.

I received a rather troubling call from this number earlier. They somehow knew my last name and referred to me as “miss,” which was rather unsettling. The caller claimed that I had registered for some Bitcoin marketing, which is entirely untrue! When I insisted that I hadn’t signed up for anything and requested them to erase my information from their records, she began to raise her voice over me. I repeated my request to have my number taken off their list, and then, as if she had had enough, she just hung up. Absolutely infuriating!

She kept pushing me to buy bitcoin, but I told her I'll think about it when I get the money I'm supposed to receive from my late uncle in Nigeria, who I just found out about. Seems like a classic scam to me.

Was one of those aggressive scam calls about crypto! They really try hard to pressure you and make it sound totally legit, especially if you’re not careful. Quite convincing if you’re not on your guard.

I got a call from someone really pushy who said they couldn't take my number off their list since apparently I had 'clicked a link' and given them my number. Thing is, I never did that - I've no clue about crypto and no money to waste on it. She went on about how folks would keep ringing me because of that. Ended up just blocking the number.

I was a bit hesitant initially, but I thought it best to give them a chance to explain themselves. However, they immediately bombarded me with questions about my personal details. When I pressed them on the reason for their call-essentially asking what they were trying to sell-they insisted that I had to answer their queries before they could disclose their intentions. Quite frustrating!

I got a call from this really pushy woman about crypto and forex stuff. When I asked her to take my info off their list, she just wouldn't listen. Proper rude behaviour, honestly can't believe it.

I just got a ring from a woman who actually called me by name, trying to hook me up with some "expert" about stock trading. I mentioned the TPS rules right away, and she quickly claimed it was an "accidental call," like she had dialled the wrong number, which was odd since she already knew my name. When I asked who she worked for, she absolutely wouldn’t say, no matter how many times I pressed her. She just refused to reveal her company or location. Very sketchy!

Really annoying! As soon as I told them I wasn't interested, the person on the other end snapped, asking "Why don’t you want this? What’s your problem?" The caller had a strong accent and was tricky to follow, but it was obvious what they were after - just my cash.

Got a call from a bloke claiming he was based in Germany, but the caller ID showed a London number. He somehow already knew my name and said he worked for some international trading firm. I just hung up straight away and blocked him.
