The conversation quickly veered into topics like investments and trading strategies. Before long, they were attempting to pry my banking details from me. I've since blocked the number!Caliber5 yearsI got a call from someone saying they were from a company named Calliber. Since I had previously done some trading with them, I thought it was legit. First, a guy asked for my name and then they started talking about my investments with Calliber. They claimed the company was about to shut down and promised a refund soon, saying their expert advisor would help. Then the call was handed over to a woman. She told me to download Autodesk and then she accessed my laptop. She asked me to log into my bank account, saying the call would be recorded to stop fraud. I logged into an account with only £10 in it, deliberately low since I was suspicious. She seemed shocked and asked if I had other accounts, wanting to check all of them for withdrawals. I told her she wasn’t the real person from Calliber I dealt with and that I wouldn’t do anything without speaking to the actual contact. After that, she got rude and hung up on me. She had even mentioned if I showed her my main account and she verified it, she’d give me £50,000.
