They went ahead and billed me for calls that I didn’t even place.

Greetings! It appears that these individuals are involved in coordinating physiotherapy and medical treatments, particularly in the aftermath of road traffic incidents, and so forth.

Had a look at my BT statement and noticed a charge for a call to 02080972468 in London, which I never rang and haven't a clue who it belongs to. When I contacted BT about it, I didn't find them very understanding or willing to assist, to be honest.

My mum had the same issue recently, and I can't get my head around how they're allowed to charge again after you've already paid. It’s definitely a scam. Avoid buying Tesco international cards, trust me.

My ageing parents are currently enjoying a holiday for a fortnight, and upon reviewing their latest BT statement, they’ve stumbled upon calls made to this particular number, which hasn’t been dialled since November. They’ve already reached out to BT, but all the provider could reveal is that it’s a London number. We’ve tried investigating who these callers are but with no luck whatsoever. It’s odd since these calls each go on for over an hour and cost a whopping £4.80 a pop! What’s even more peculiar is that they occur at the same time and on the same date every month! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Same thing happened to me and I was well annoyed at first. But then I checked Tesco’s site about their international call cards and everything’s laid out in the terms about fees and extra charges... totally above board it seems! Looks like if you use Tesco’s international call app instead, it comes out cheaper.

Just got a surprise bill for this number, says I talked for over an hour and it’s 5.70 quid. I don’t even use a landline, no clue who this number belongs to. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Can someone please assist? Last month I had an issue and here are the details:

On 8th November 2013, calls to 02080972468 from London were made, lasting 1 hour 7 minutes, costing £6.18.
There were several shorter calls on the same day too: one for 1 minute (£0.24), another for 2 minutes (£0.33), and multiple more calls each around 2 minutes charged similarly.
Additionally, on 7th November at 13:35, there was a 2-minute call, costing £0.33.
Also, on 6th November at 19:11, a 7-minute call was made but was free of charge.

I'm quite puzzled about these charges and would appreciate some help understanding what's going on.

Hey, I got a Tesco international card and used it to call from my landline. Now, I'm seeing charges for that number on my phone bill. Does that seem normal?
