I received a call that seemed to be a mistake, but shortly after, my phone rang again from a mobile number. Turns out it was one of those dodgy scams claiming they owe me money.

I received a call from someone purporting to be with the accounts team of a Forex brokerage called 'VERACITY MARKETS'. They asserted that I was owed a hefty sum of £56,000.00. Surprisingly, this individual insisted that he needed to inspect my bank statements to prove that I wasn’t engaging in any sort of money laundering or illicit activity. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
