Got a call from a bloke who sounded pretty sure of himself, said he was with some claims team. He was going on about an accident from a couple weeks back, something about a car hitting mine while it was parked. Total load of rubbish scam if you ask me.

I was about to get tricked by this scam, but then I looked up the number on Google and found this site. I ended up calling my lawyer who told me not to respond at all, so I just went ahead and blocked them. Honestly, these jokers are just total scammers.

some woman with an indian accent called me, said i’d been in a car crash. i told her i’ve never had any accident like that. she kept pushing, saying she had my info from the accident team! quite annoying really.

I don’t own a car, so I asked them when this incident was meant to have taken place. I kept telling them there's no way it could be me since I don’t have a car. When they wouldn’t let it go, I added that I haven’t left my house in months, so it really can't involve me. I tried to be helpful and kept the conversation going, but eventually, they gave up on the car crash story and started asking if there was anything else, like an injury claim inside my home. I acted all surprised and said, “So this was just a random cold call, then?” and they just hung up after that.

I keep getting those calls about some accident I supposedly had, which is total rubbish. Sometimes I mess about a bit with them just for the laugh, but I never give out any info. Other times I just hang up straight away. They’re basically ringing loads of numbers hoping to catch someone gullible. Don’t be that person who falls for it!
