Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2 offering me an upgrade to a Samsung S23 Ultra for just £25 a month, which he said was half price. He asked me to pay an insurance fee for delivery upfront, promising to send the phone once I paid and refund the fee later. It sounded dodgy straight away, especially as I’m actually with Giffgaff, which runs on the O2 network. If he was genuine, he’d have realised I don’t have an O2 contract. Total con if you ask me.
