I got a call from 02080899843 and when I checked the voicemail, it was just silence. No one spoke, just what sounded like a call centre on the other end.

Got a call from this number again, the bloke sounded exactly like the one from 25th September. He denied ever ringing me before and said this time he got through the switchboard. Was a bit pushy, and by the end of the call, quite aggressive too. It was some business call - kept asking if I use [named product]. Seemed like he was fishing for details about our systems and wasn’t having any of my questions about where they got my info or asking them to remove me from their list.

I noticed a couple of missed calls from 16th and 17th September 2019, both starting with 020 8089. When I searched for those digits online, I saw quite a few others mentioning that they've been getting calls from similar 0208089 numbers but with different last four digits. Seems a bit dodgy to me.
