I recently received a dodgy call from someone who claimed to be from Curry's PC World, trying to tempt me with a surprisingly affordable iPhone 14 Pro Max. I have a strong suspicion he was fishing for my banking information. I've added him to my blocked contacts without a second thought!

My phone alerted me that the call might be a fraud or a scam, so I decided to pass on answering it. I've now gone ahead and blocked the number.

I picked up the call when my phone rang, but strangely, there wasn’t anyone on the line. Then I heard this bizarre high-pitched sound before the line went dead. Quite peculiar, really!
