Received a call from 02080898061 this morning, Saturday, around 8:40. Seems odd, since no proper company makes calls before 9am, especially on weekends. I just kept saying no, no and then ended the call.

I had some dodgy phone call from Opus Energy, they kept going on about being our energy provider - which they’re not! The bloke even claimed he knew our manager’s name and birthday. They try to mess with your contract over the phone without you spotting it. My advice? Don’t give them any real info, not even employee names - just make one up. If they ring back asking for “Ken Dodd” or whoever, you can just brush them off proper. The guy even tried to wind me up by calling me a “freaky woman,” but honestly, I just took it as a compliment.

It's a con! Someone pretending to represent my energy provider. The voice sounded Indian or possibly Pakistani. Definitely a scammer!
