Honestly, this is getting way out of hand. I keep blocking loads of these numbers but they just won’t stop! They called me like three times in under half a minute because I kept hanging up straight away. At this point, my blocked list has almost hit 100 different numbers!

I reckon this was some dodgy Russian call centre pretending to use a UK number. The accent was really hard to get, and they were going on about making extra money by investing. I told the guy to stop ringing me and just ended the call. Then, I made sure to block the number straight away!

Honestly, it was all really confusing. But the moment I asked them to prove who they were, they snapped and started being really rude. They said they were linked to the UK FCA which sounded dodgy to me. When I questioned that, they got even louder and aggressive. Pretty useless if you ask me, could even be harmful or deliberately trying to cause trouble.

I had no clue what he was saying at all, but judging by other comments I’m thinking he might’ve been Russian. On his fourth ring, the only thing that made any sense was him talking about some red button. I just blocked the number, and honestly, if you’ve had calls from them, you should probably block it too.

Got a call from 02080898542, a woman with a really thick Eastern European accent, sounded like Polish but her English was pretty poor. I kept telling her I couldn’t follow what she was saying. Then she handed the phone to a bloke who she said spoke better English. Turns out, he was Russian and his English was just as hard to understand. When I mentioned he was Russian and that I still couldn’t get what he was saying, he ended up swearing at me! Totally uncalled for and really disrespectful!

Got a few calls from some company claiming to be a London-based investment firm pushing day trading schemes. I’ve told them repeatedly to take me off their call list, so these latest calls feel like straight-up harassment. Dealt with loads of financial firms before, but none have been as aggressive or dodgy as these lot. Honestly, don’t trust it or pick up when they ring. You can do day trading yourself, no need for some random middleman trying to nick your bank info!

Avoid picking up! I’m based in Sweden and just got a call on my Swedish mobile from a woman with a West Indian accent claiming she was calling from London. I ended the call immediately. Sounds like one of those cryptocurrency scams. Could end up costing you, so best not to answer!

I've been getting calls from this woman nearly five times daily, pushing me to open some forex account I have no interest in. When I mentioned I'd report her for bothering me so much, she just dared me to do it. Had to get pretty sharp with her because she’s clearly thick. I’m certain she’ll ring again since she’s clearly clueless. I've blocked the number every time, but she seems to use loads of different 020 numbers. Properly annoying and her English is awful too.

Gumtree is the one causing all this, you can tell from the name where they’re based. I’d recommend not putting any ads on their platform anymore, maybe then they’ll finally realise what's going on and get their act together!
