I picked up the call and they just hung up straight away. Seeing the reviews here, sounds like that Microsoft scam doin the rounds again.

I got a call asking to speak to Mrs (surname). Told the person she wasn’t around, but they kept insisting she was. Then out of nowhere, they called me a bitch, all annoyed like. After that, they just hung up on me.

Some guy phoned pretending to be from Microsoft, said they never contact customers out of the blue. I played along for a bit, gave him the spiel he wanted but didn’t let him actually fix anything. Told him my laptop screen was completely black and then I dropped the call. He called me back like 2 minutes later though. Honestly, steer well clear, it’s definitely some sort of scam!

Some bloke called me saying he was from Microsoft, said they never usually ring up customers. I played along, gave him all the info he asked for but didn’t let him do anything on my PC. I said my screen turned black and then I ended the call. But the cheeky sod rang back like 2 minutes later! Stay well clear, it’s a proper scam!
