Got a call from someone claiming to be from Opton Telecom. They tried to convince us they weren't scammers since they didn't ask for bank details like sort code or account number, but then went on to request the IBAN. They insisted we were already customers, which we definitely aren't. The caller threatened to set up a monthly direct debit, which really frightened my elderly mum in her 80s.
