Got a ring from this number today - 20th October 2020 - just after 3pm. A bloke on the line told me my yearly TV premium of £99 was due the next day. I had no clue I’d signed up for anything. Apparently, he said two years ago I signed a 5-year deal. He added I could cancel it today by paying £89.95, and that I’d get a whole year’s coverage free! Checked my bank right after, and there’s no sign of any £99 withdrawals in the last two years. Feels like if I’d agreed to the cancellation, they’d have asked for my card details. Definitely looks like a dodgy scam call to me.
