The person on the line started off by expressing gratitude for our 'support' to a local school, stemming from some arrangement we supposedly made way back in 2018. They went on to ask which name we preferred on a thank-you certificate and the specific school involved. But then came the kicker: we were informed that we owed £299, although there was apparently the generosity of a £50 discount available! I was utterly baffled, as I had no recollection of agreeing to any of this, nor would I ever concur to anything over the phone. When I mentioned my hesitance, the caller promptly said, "I’ll pass you on to our queries team for further assistance," and just like that, the call ended rather abruptly.
