I just received a call from someone claiming they were contacting me about a supposed accident I had and the associated claim. The thing is, I’ve had neither an accident nor a claim! Utter nonsense, if you ask me.

The accent was quite hard to make out; it seemed to have African roots. I mentioned that I'm hearing impaired and would rather communicate via text. Since then, they haven’t attempted to reach out to me again.
