Got a call from a woman claiming I'd agreed to get info about investment banking. I told her straight up that I hadn’t signed up for anything like that. Asked her nicely to take me off their list, but she just brushed me off. Seems like they don’t follow the same rules as we do over here in the UK. When I asked for a manager, she said she didn’t have one. Then she started going on about something else, but honestly, I had better things to do, like watching grass grow, so I just ended the call and blocked the number.

I tried to return the call, wondering if there was a genuine matter at hand, but a recording played, stating that my call had been noted and that my conversation would be recorded. I told her I hadn’t signed up for anything and wasn’t interested. She replied, how can you not be interested if you haven’t even heard what I have to say? Got a dodgy call about investments from a woman who said she was calling from some business site called fxbreeze[###]. She claimed her company was based in London, but when I mentioned that the fxbreeze[###] site’s HQ is actually in Estonia and the site's hosted from Arizona, she had no clue. Then I asked her the exact location of their London office and she said Liverpool Street Station! When I pressed her about which cafe in the station she was ringing from, she just ended the call. Definitely block that number.

Just got a call from an Asian woman claiming she was with "Gallum Finance". I knew straight away it was a dodgy call, so I asked her to spell the company name. She did, but got it wrong! I then asked for their registered office address, which really threw her off. She just said it was somewhere in London. I kept pressing for the street and postcode, and she got proper irritated, told me to f off, and hung up! Hopefully she won’t bother me again anytime soon! One day, I’ll catch one of these scammers with the full details so I can take them to task - PPI claims my backside - ha!

The woman got really defensive when I asked about the company. She kept saying they're a cryptocurrency broker.
