I received a call meant for my dad, someone pretending to be part of a Facebook scheme. They tried to log into his account and access his bank funds, claiming their name was Henry and that it was a fantastic investment opportunity. They asked for his personal information and were audacious enough to request his one-time passcode for his banking app. Unbelievable!

On the 19th of November, I got a call from someone saying they were from my internet company, telling me my connection was running slow and they needed to fix it. They asked me to open a browser and type in some numbers they would give me. It felt suspicious, so I asked if it was really official. The person sounded annoyed and said that entering the numbers would prove their identity. This was nothing like the normal calls I get from my provider. I asked again if it was legit, and then the caller got quite rude, swearing before hanging up on me.

I picked up the phone and a chap claimed to be ringing me from Carphone Warehouse. When I pressed him for details, he got all defensive and quite unpleasant. I mentioned that I'm with Telephone Provider Direct, hence I'm aware this is nothing but a con. His reaction? He scoffed, "Are you daft? Are you actually daft? I’m busy, you’re the one who rang me!" So this bloke rings me up claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse with an offer for a free iPhone 13. So I got a call saying it was from Amazon Prime. First off, Amazon Prime is just a subscription service, not really something that calls you. Secondly, if Amazon ever called me, it would be as Amazon, not "Amazon Prime". Plus, they don't even have my landline number saved anywhere, so this call’s definitely fishy.

Why do they always have to ring so bleedin' early in the morning? Proper annoying, that.

Received a call earlier than 9 AM today. They didn’t bother to leave a message, which raises my suspicions. Quite likely a spam or scam operation, if you ask me. It’s baffling how they’re permitted to mimic British landline numbers, isn’t it?

Didn’t leave a message, it seems.

This particular number is linked to the residence located at 21a Plymouth Road in Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF, registered under the name Stuart Wright. It's rather illuminating to discover where this fraudster resides! It’s hardly surprising that he occupies such a spacious home; he seems to rake in a tidy sum from his dubious activities!

Received a call at 8:05 on a Friday morning. There was quite a bit of racket in the background, and I noticed a slight lag before she started talking. The caller was a woman who spoke with a Chinese accent.

Got a call from an unknown number, didn’t leave a voicemail. When I tried to ring back, 1471 didn’t let me return the call, which felt a bit dodgy. Also, calling me before 9am is never something legit companies usually do. Suspicious if you ask me.

The call cut off justo as I was about to let it ring through to the answerphone. Quite strange, really.

Some bloke rang claiming he was with Microsoft. I instantly sussed it was a scam, but I played along and let him go on about all the supposed problems with my PC. When he asked me to let him have access, I said no thanks and ended the call.

I received a call from this number-an 01795-and it happened at roughly 4:50 PM on the 11th of November, 2021. They were inquiring about next of kin details. Given that the recipient is an elderly acquaintance of mine, I’m quite concerned as this has caused her quite a bit of distress! I would truly value some assistance from the authorities regarding this matter.

Receiving a call from someone purporting to be from Openreach, they requested access to my device to "help" with an issue. It was quite apparent that their aim was to gain remote control and attempt to siphon off my funds from my bank account.
