Got a call saying they’d give me a free quote, just need to answer a few questions. I asked “quote for what?” and they said life insurance. Told them I’m good, no thanks. They kept pushing, “it’s a free quote though”. Honestly, what part of no thanks don’t they get? After going back and forth, she finally dropped it. Pretty sure it was a scam - I’m on the TPS.

Got a call from a London code I didn’t recognise, so I just didn’t pick up. Felt like it might be one of those dodgy scam calls.

some bloke called me and already knew my name, said he was with a marketing firm or summat. wanted to ask me a few things but i told him i don’t do personal questions from unknown callers and hung up straight away.

Seems like a dodgy scam to me. The 0208 code felt off, so I told this supposed London caller to remove me from their list under the TPS rules, which pretty much halted them right there. When I tried calling back, the number was nowhere to be found. Looks like it's one of those typical fraud groups faking 0208 numbers to stay under the radar. I'll block this number for now but expect a fresh 0208 one soon enough, since I doubt GCHQ will do anything about these shady characters. David from Newcastle.

Got a call from some SEO company fishing for my details, felt pretty sketchy if you ask me. They kept pushing to get my contact info but I wasn’t having any of it. Sounds like one of those tactics to just collect leads without offering real info. Watch out, might be a waste of time.
