A couple of hours back, this number rang me but I didn’t pick up. When I tried ringing it again, all I got was silence and some odd noises in the background. Bit weird, but didn’t feel like anything bad.

Honestly, this has got to be a total scam, no question about it. Don’t pick up, never send any info like your number, bank details, or anything personal. If you do, you’ll end up regretting it big time. I got caught out by these lot before and I remember some of their names. It’s actually the same bunch behind loads of other scam firms, and they’ll try to trick you over and over again. Stay well clear!

Got a call from +442080893767, felt like one of those scams. Does anyone know where I can report this sort of cybercrime so they stop targeting folks like us?

Hey, so I’ve had loads of calls and emails from this Michelle person promising she’ll recover the cash I lost with Get Financial. It’s unbelievable how they try to scam you AGAIN on top of the original scam! I really thought there was someone who could help me out. Honestly, just avoid this whole thing!

So many calls from Michelle Williams lately, makes me think something dodgy is happening. Why on earth do I have to fork out $250 as an activation fee just to retrieve my stolen money from Ironfx? I noticed other people have the same promised refund of $7500, which supposedly gets released after you pay that $250 activation fee by linking your card. But if the $7500 is already in my account, they should just deduct the $250 from that, no need for me to pay anything extra. Feels like a total con to me!

Just got an email from someone called Michelle Williams saying she's sending back my deposit! There was a phone number in the message so I texted back asking if I’m really owed anything to just send a cheque instead. I didn’t click any links coz it felt off. Didn’t hear back yet. Did a quick search and found this site - now I’m sure it’s a scam. Glad I didn’t fall for it!

I’m based in Hong Kong and got the same message from someone calling themselves “Michelle Williams Specialist | VIP and Corporate department +44 208 089 2321 | [email protected]” and all that. When I clicked their link, it showed I supposedly had USD7500 in Bitcoin and wanted me to upload ID and a utility bill. Of course, I didn’t send anything. Feels like the next step would be asking for credit card details to take your money. I messaged “Michelle” a few times and tried searching for her on LinkedIn but found nothing at all. I even told her straight up she’s a scammer in my last email and she just stopped replying. Stay safe and watch out for this one!

I've been trying to figure out if this is a legit business or just a scam. Can't seem to dig up much info about them on Google anywhere. Anyone else have any clues?

Funny thing, I never got a call from this number but got an email that was exactly the same, only this time it was about a company called Option Ridge and the sender was James Collins instead of Michelle Williams. When I tried to reply to the email, it kept bouncing back...no surprises there.

I got this email that looks like a scam, trying to help me get my money back from some dodgy investment called StoxMarket. They say they're from a group called Brokers Community and that loads of people complained about this platform, so now they want to give me a “one-time chance” to reclaim all the cash I put in. They call it the "Take Back Your Deposit" program and claim it’s all about letting traders like me get 100% of their deposit back, insisting investments should always make a profit. They ask me to reply with my phone number and my own experience with StoxMarket if I want in, and there’s a number to call if I’m unsure about anything. The email ends with a contact named Michelle Williams from some VIP department and gives a UK phone number and an email at marketeffects.co, but honestly, it just feels fishy. I wouldn't trust it.
