My stepmother, still mourning my dad, got a call from this number. A very convincing woman named Rachel told her that my late father had been keen on investing in some fine art. Because she’s still grieving, she agreed to have someone come round to the house and then ended up handing over £1525 for something called a "Treasury Asset" with the label SalvadorDali1525. The contract she signed was quite detailed, talking about buying a physical art piece. But when I rang the number, they said it was actually an investment in a fine art fund run by Treasury Asset Consultants. Problem is, this company isn’t listed at Companies House nor registered with the FCA. I found out my stepmother was told to write a cheque for £1525 to "Opal House Furnishings Ltd" - which might or might not be connected to a firm with the same name in Cambridgeshire. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

Honestly, this company is a total scam. I reported them to both Action Fraud and the FCA around two weeks back, but it's frustrating that they’re still allowed to carry on like nothing’s wrong. Loads of people flagged them months before me, yet Action Fraud haven’t really done anything. When I gave them the info, it felt like they’d never even come across the company before. What’s going on with them? What exactly is their deal?

Got a call from US Investing, and when I politely said no, they kept ringing back which was pretty annoying.

I got a call from some scammy people saying we had gas shares they could sell on our behalf. Then, out of nowhere, a few days later we received an account opening form from a firm based in Spain, specialising in Fine Art Investments with the name Treasury Asset Consulting Services. Right after the form arrived, they rang asking if we had a cheque book ready. That was the moment I told them to stop calling us ever again. Next day, their so-called "legal" team rang demanding payment for the account. I looked them up and found a very similar firm called Treasury Consulting Group with almost identical wording on their website. I reported the whole thing to the FCA and the Police’s Action Fraud team.
