Some bloke named 'Adam' phoned me from BFI (Basic Financial Information or something), and I was straight up with him that I wasn’t interested at all, then just hung up. He rang my Irish number, no clue where they got it from, and I’m pretty sure I never agreed to be called by BFI or anyone linked to them.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from BFI or something like Business Finance Info. She already knew my first name. When I asked her how they got my details, she just dodged the question and wouldn’t agree to delete my info when I asked. Even before GDPR, companies had to comply with that. Feels really shady to me!

Got a call from this number saying I’d been on their website filling out some enquiry form. They asked if I made an online financial purchase? I was told someone would call me back. Normally I don’t get annoyed but honestly, the lady sounded obviously Asian with loads of noise in the background. My advice about this company? "Just buzz off and don’t call me, I’ll call you!" If you get these calls, tell ‘em they’re a load of rubbish.

Funny how these lot never realise their own calls are the ones bothering people. I asked him to give me an example of a recent nuisance call I supposedly got, but he said he was too busy. Told him he should make time, but he just wouldn’t, so I hung up. Total con artists. No way that database they brag about is real. Just scammers all the way.
