I requested an email detailing this supposed offer, and the number they provided for queries was the very one I Googled. Turns out, I’m not the only one taken in; a quick search revealed that this has become a common scam. Be cautious, everyone!

The caller ID showed a London number but I know those can easily be spoofed. A lady with a heavy accent was talking so quickly, I think she claimed to be from EE but I couldn't catch most of what she said. When I asked her to say it again, she just ended the call.
