Got a call from a woman at Infinity Finance about some business loan offer. She sounded quite polite, I'll give her credit. I told her we're not looking into it. Could be a scam, who knows, but I have no way to check.

Got a call from Rahina at Infinity Brokers, who was ringing from India about an uninsured loan for my limited company. She kept asking loads of questions about the business before she’d talk about the interest rates, which apparently go as high as 24%. She mentioned a London number, 02087686360, so I tried calling back but the number 0208799622 came up when I checked with 1471. Bit confusing, really.

One of our directors got a call from someone claiming to be from Infinity. They said they could hook us up with finance without any upfront money. Seems like they just scrape business names and numbers off Companies House randomly. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

I picked up and there was loads of noise like a busy call centre in the background. The call sounded pretty clear, like a good VoIP line or something. I could hear people chatting in a language I didn’t recognise, maybe from India or somewhere like that. Not too sure the person on the other end realised I was the one who answered at all.

Got a call where they asked for someone else, but somehow they already knew my business name. They asked a few questions and got me to say my first name. Next, they claimed I’d been running my business since 1992, which isn’t true at all. I told them that, but they insisted they had my info from Companies House. Thing is, I’m just a sole trader, so I’m not even on there. I ended the call before they could dig deeper into my details.

Got a call from a number that looked like it was from London, but sounded like some call centre overseas. The caller claimed to be from "Infinity" and wanted to talk about some "Government post-COVID financial aid" for my Limited Company. I reckon it was just a trick to fish for my bank details or personal info, either a direct scam or some sneaky phishing attempt. I told them to take me off their list and, to my surprise, they didn’t argue, just said "alright" and ended the call.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming to be from Infinity, said it's some kind of government group handing out grants. Just so you know, we are on the TPS and listed as Ex-Directory, but this caller definitely wasn't following TPS rules.

I got a call the other day from someone claiming there’s a government-funded program giving out grants to Ltd companies. Sounded a bit fishy to me, especially since they asked for loads of personal details right off the bat. Not sure if it’s legit or just another scam trying to take advantage of small business owners. Just thought I’d share in case anyone else gets the same call and wonders what it’s about.

Got a call from what looked like a London number but it was actually some overseas call centre. The caller said they were from "Infinity" and wanted to discuss a "Government post-COVID funding initiative" relating to my Limited Company.

Felt like they were angling for bank details, either to scam or to fish for sensitive company or personal account info.

I asked them to delete my number from their list, and quite unexpectedly, the person just agreed and ended the call without any fuss.
