Just like others have mentioned, when I picked up the phone the person on the other end was silent for a bit and then just hung up. I’ve seen this kind of thing before with scam calls - usually it’s followed by another call from someone pretending to help you stop these scams. When I said ‘your type of call’ they dropped the line. Seems like just another dodgy number to watch out for.

They addressed me by name and mentioned some dubious activity linked to my so-called ‘account.’ However, before I could even inquire about which account they were referring to, I firmly told them to take a hike. Naturally, I suspect this call is connected to a bunch of lowdown scammers.
