Just got a call from 02080797714 claiming to be EE. They said if you still have a 4G sim, your service will be cut off unless you switch to a 5G sim, which they offered to send. I told them I’d sort it out at an actual EE shop and they hung up right away. Rang EE afterwards and they confirmed they’re not making any calls like that and warned about these scammers pretending to be them. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Got a call where they said they were from EE, telling me some services would stop next week and trying to move my account to some other provider. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

This number gave me a ring the other day... the bloke on the other end was pretty rude and kept probing for my private info. I told him I’d rather ring EE myself and then ended the call nicely. I then phoned EE straight away, and they said they never tried to contact me. Watch out for calls like this, and if you’re unsure, just say you’ll contact the company on a number you know is legit.

Had a call from someone pretending to be with EE saying they’re stopping all 4G next January. They wanted to know if I’d be alright with them sending a 5G SIM. I declined and then they just hung up right away. Just so you know, it’s actually 3G getting shut down, not 4G! Looks like a total scam to me.

Got a call saying I was getting a new 5G sim from EE, and the guy wanted to check my email to confirm it was actually me. Sounded dodgy from the start, so I ended the call before giving any details. Felt like it could’ve been a scam.

Got a dodgy call from someone using my email info - sounds like they've got it from a leak. They tried logging into my account pretending to be me and asked me for a one-time passcode. Don’t ever hand that over! O2, for sure, won’t ask for your OTP. Judging by their IP address, they seem to be dialing in from Kolkata, India.
