Oh, totally a scam. Got a call just yesterday from someone claiming to be with EE, said they could lower my bill to £9.99 a month. I clocked what was going on straight away and ended up stringing him along for about 25 minutes. The bloke was quite relentless, even rang back after I had hung up and blasted a foghorn down the receiver! Eventually he gave up when I told him he must be ashamed of himself and wondered how his family felt about him.
