Got two calls from this number, I picked up the second one. A woman said her name was 'Julie Smith' and claimed to be from some claims company. She asked if I’d had an accident that was my fault. I told her she must have the wrong person and asked which company she was with. Then 'Julie' just hung up on me.

Got a call from some stranger on my mobile who started asking about a car crash I'd supposedly been involved in. Told them I'd never had an accident, but they kept going on about whether anyone in my family had been in a crash. When I asked which firm they were working for, they just hung up on me! Proper dodgy if you ask me.

They really need to find a way to block these nuisance calls. Just now, my 15-year-old daughter got a call like that. I let it ring through just so I could tell them off properly. The woman’s voice on the message was dead obvious, even though the bloke on the other end pretended she was just a workmate and that they were after me, not her. Total rubbish if you ask me. The authorities should step in and stop this nonsense once and for all.
