It's a right nuisance! I've been getting calls almost every day for the past fortnight from someone claiming to be associated with the Euro lottery. The woman on the line never seems to pause for a breath, just keeps rambling on and on. It’s clearly dodgy-definitely a scam!

Received a call from this number earlier. I picked up, and the caller informed me that I was entered into a competition for Sainsbury’s vouchers. They claimed it was all part of a free lottery game. Quite odd, really!

Got a call from 020 8077 8536 saying I'd been chosen to join some euro lottery group. The lady (I guess it was a woman?) actually knew my full name and address. I gave her my email and, daftly, told her my birthdate just so she’d see I’m over 18. No idea what harm that info can cause though? I hung up as soon as she started asking for my bank details and sort code.

It's hard not to return the call cos this site says don’t bother with unknown numbers, but if you’re looking for work you never know if it’s a job offer. So I do pick up or call back if it’s a UK number. But this one’s dodgy, only an answering machine saying it’s about a lotto, then you’re told to stay on the line... I hung up straight away. Hope it didn’t cost me a fortune on my landline!

Some bloke said I’d bagged 10 lines on the Euromillions and Lottery syndicate. Asked me to set up a Direct Debit that’d start after I’d used my free plays. Chatted with him for about 7 and a half minutes before I just ended the call. Definitely feels like a dodgy scam.

They said they were calling from Lotto Direct and claimed I’d won 10 free EuroMillions tickets for this week. Then they mentioned I was in some syndicate and could pay 95% less to enter the lottery. They gave me a number to ring back, supposedly based in Liverpool, but the caller ID showed a London number. They asked to check my bank info - already sussed it was dodgy. I told them I couldn’t get my details and they got pushy, asking when to call again and why I couldn’t log into online banking. I just let them carry on rambling for about 10 minutes before I cut the call.
