I got a call from some person talking about a lottery or something. I told them to wait a moment cos I was busy with stuff, then just left the phone hanging. They ended up hanging up first, which is what I usually do with annoying calls like that. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a call today saying I’d won the lottery and they wanted me to confirm my date of birth. I asked who they were and for their website. The person claimed to be Austin Lee from 777 Lottos Direct and gave me a phone number 01512531908 but I’m not sure what that’s about! They said I’d won 10 free prize draws. I tried looking up the website, but couldn’t find anything legit. It all felt pretty dodgy. When they asked if I’d entered any draw, I said no. Then it hit me, I’d just clicked on a Facebook page yesterday. Just a heads up to everyone to be careful!

They keep ringing me like 3 or 4 times every single day. I’m just not picking up after seeing what people have said here.

They began pestering me over the festive season, and after blocking the number, they simply switched to another one. I blocked that too, and for a spell, I was free from their calls until just last week. I made it clear that I wasn't interested and requested to be left in peace, but they chose to ignore my wishes and rang me back later that same day, which led me to hang up on her. Yesterday alone, they called me three times, and today I've received four calls so far. I'm seriously considering changing my phone number and being more selective about who gets it, but it’s utterly ridiculous that it has come to this!
