Got a call saying my car’s involved in some fraud and might get suspended if I don’t reply. This phishing scam keeps ringing me from different numbers, like three or four times daily. I just keep blocking them all.

Today, I got a call from this number claiming to be from the Euro Millions lottery. The woman seemed to know everything about me except my bank details and tried to make me set up a direct debit of £39 a month for 300 lines. She got really upset when I said no to sharing my bank info. Seriously, how did they even get my name and address? Don’t hand over any of your info to them!

Got a call saying i won free tickets to some lottery, then they started babbling about a contest i supposedly joined, which i never did. Told them to stop ringing me but ive had like 3 calls today already and its just before midday. Totally a massive scam!!!

I said nope and they kept claiming I signed up online, which is complete rubbish. They insisted I just needed to verify my bank details. Seriously, don’t hand out your bank stuff to anyone, might be a scam!!!

Somebody claimed I’d won 10 free tickets and said I’d entered a competition. I asked what competition they meant, and she told me I entered about 6 weeks ago to win an iPhone X. I told her I didn’t remember and asked which website I entered it on, and she said Amazon. Seems like complete nonsense to me, so I told her no thanks and to stop calling. She agreed but sounded pretty unsure when I questioned her. Just a heads up, be careful with these calls!

The call quality was abysmal, likely from abroad. It wasn't a voicemail, just some blabber about a lottery. I decided to hang up. Interestingly, I received this call shortly after I entered a competition with Ryanair. I also had a ring from 01282678636, which seemed connected to the same Ryanair contest. Quite the coincidence, isn't it?

Lotto! They told me I’ve won 10 free lines for completing an online survey. When I told them I never did any survey, the person said the call was recorded and asked why i'd lie. Blocked the number straight away!

Got a call from 777 lotto claiming they’d give free entries for the Euro lottery. They kept pushing me to join some “elite syndicate.” They seemed to have all my info right apart from my bank details and got a bit grumpy when I wouldn’t share those.

They phone me like 4 times daily and when I pick up there’s just silence. They also leave empty voicemails. I rang them back once and was told to hang on, that my call was ‘very important’, then after about 10 mins of awful piano music, an automated voice said ‘goodbye’ and hung up. No idea if it’s a paid service or what, but that’s what I reckon. Tried blocking the number but it just changes and rings again. Really wish I could speak to someone and give them a proper telling off.

When I decided to return the call, a recorded message played that seemed quite official, and eventually, it connected me to a person who bizarrely inquired if I was someone entirely different.
