What an absolute daft scammer! They phoned me claiming I'd completed a form, which I definitely hadn't. I played along a bit, then when they asked for my bank details, I just ended the call. I called back to call them out on the scam, threatened to get the cops involved, and they just hung up on me. Then the very next day, the police showed up. I told them everything and they said it sounded fishy when I accused those scammers.

*Definitely a SCAM* This number kept ringing me loads of times. When I tried calling back, an automated voice said it was something to do with a lottery draw? It told me to press 1 if I didn’t want to be contacted anymore. I did press 1, but the calls just kept coming! Eventually, I answered and some bloke started telling me I’d entered an online competition for a chance to win an iPhone X or something, and that’s how they got my info. Then he tried to sell me lottery tickets for the EuroMillions, like 75 euros’ worth every week for three months. He even confirmed my personal details - name, address, email and all that. Before he could go on, I asked straight up if he wanted my bank details. He said he only needed my sort code and 8-digit bank reference number. I just told him to stop, said I wasn’t interested, and asked them to remove my number from their list.
