Whenever I pick up, the call just drops out suddenly.

He claimed some scammy dealers were using my name and email to run trading accounts, saying there’s about £30,000 on my behalf. He wanted me to send my ID so they'd "verify" me and transfer the money in 10 separate payments! Said he’s a fraud officer based in Brussels or something. When I mentioned I work for the police here in the UK, he didn’t seem bothered at all, just said "oh alright" like it meant nothing. I asked for official company info and he offered to send me his personal phone number instead! Definitely smells off to me! Total scammers!

Got a call out of the blue from a UK number, but I’m based in Canada. I’m not sure who it was since I only have one mate over there and the digits didn’t match theirs at all.

Got a call here in Australia from a bloke who just wouldn’t talk clear, sounded like some foreign gibberish. I told him to speak English and then he just hung up on me.
