The number of scam calls I get daily is insane. It used to be only on my landline but now my mobile’s getting battered too. Proper annoying! 🤬🤬🤬Jane1 yearsome woman called saying her name was lisa and asked for my date of birth and address. she claimed id get a cheque for £6792 for wrongly claimed ppi stuff from 2016. then she put me on with her manager who confirmed it all and asked what bank i use. i told her i dont have my own bank account, i share with a mate cos of a past scam. she said that was okay. sounded fine until she told me to go buy £500 in all play vouchers from places like tesco. then the call dropped. now i’m pretty sure it was a scam.LisaTesco1 yearThey said there was a £6,000 PPI refund waiting but needed my full name, date of birth, and bank details.
