I received a phone call from someone purporting to be from a firm that purportedly provides insurance for my washing machine, stating they were taking direct debits from my account. However, I was completely taken aback, as I had never signed up for such a service! When I mentioned that I wasn’t certain of their legitimacy and would need to check my records before getting back to them, they abruptly ended the conversation. Quite shady, if you ask me!

I received a call on 9th March 2017 at precisely 10:49 from a chap who appeared to have a Filipino accent. He mentioned something about an accident I supposedly had not too long ago - mind you, it was actually quite a few years back, around five or six! Before he could delve deeper into his spiel, I made it clear that I wasn't keen on engaging and promptly hung up. Thankfully, I've not heard from him again since that day.
