They wanted me to pay £150 before anything else, so I said just add it to the loan instead. The way they snapped at me was unreal, saying if I wanted to hang up I should just do it. Honestly, don't trust them - it's a total scam if they ask for cash upfront.

This is a total scam. The guy on the phone said I’d been given a loan of £3000 and the cash would be in my account within 45 minutes. Then they said they’d post me an agreement and wanted a photo of me - that instantly raised red flags. I mean, 1) you usually sign any papers online before receiving any money, 2) a legit loan company wouldn't require a photo upfront, and 3) they definitely wouldn’t ask for £150 before you’ve even got the cash. If you get a call from this number, just block it straight away.
