Last Wednesday, I received a phone call from a gentleman with an Indian accent. He provided me with some of my personal information and mentioned there’s a cheque for £2750 on the way, supposedly to be delivered by someone named Jason White. However, when I tried calling back on the number he provided, it just didn't ring at all. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

This morning, on the 2nd of November, 2016, I received a rather suspicious call from a 'private number'. The chap on the line had a distinctly Indian accent and was pressuring me to verify some personal information. Naturally, I refused. He then went on about how a PPI cheque worth £3000 was supposedly waiting for me, claiming to be from 'The City County Court, The Strand, London' with some postal code of WA2 A2LL, and a telephone number of 0208 0770357. He mentioned that a fellow named Marcus Moremn would be delivering the cheque, but insisted I needed to call back first. I chose not to engage. Besides, that postcode doesn’t belong to London; it’s actually in Cheshire, and the number he provided doesn’t seem to connect to the Court at all. It’s clearly a scam, so do yourself a favour and avoid interacting with these individuals.

I received a call from someone claiming I was eligible for a cheque of £2,750 related to PPI. They mentioned that a representative would be dropping by with the cheque, but first, I needed to purchase a Paysafe card worth £275. Once I have that, they said the man would come to my home to exchange it for the cheque. I was suspicious and decided to hang up, but they keep ringing me repeatedly. It's quite concerning, really!

I've received a rather peculiar request, claiming I owe £225 in iTunes vouchers for some PPI matter. Quite the odd situation, isn't it?
