10 yearsLast Wednesday, this guy from India called me and started telling me my private info. He said I was getting a cheque for £2750 and some bloke named Jason White would bring it to me. I tried ringing the number they gave but it just didn’t go through. Proper fishy if you ask me!Jason White10 yearsThis morning on 2/11/16, I got a call from a private number. The guy on the other end sounded Indian and asked me to verify some personal info, which I refused to do. He then claimed I had a PPI cheque of £3000 waiting, supposedly from 'The City County Court, The Strand, London', giving a postcode of WA2 A2LL and a phone number 0208 0770357. He mentioned a man named Marcus Moremn would deliver the cheque, but only if I phoned back first. I chose not to. The postcode isn’t London at all, it’s actually in Cheshire, and the phone number doesn’t match the Court. Don’t bother calling or talking to these people - it’s a total scam. The City CountyThe StrandLondonMarcus MoremnCheshireCourt10 yearsGot a call about some PPI payout of £2,750, and they said a bloke would be coming round after I bought a paysafe card for £275. They told me once I had the card ready, someone would show up at my house with the cheque, but I’d have to pay the £275 first. I ended the call straightaway, but they kept ringing me again and again.10 yearsGot a call about some PPI thing, they wanted me to pay £225 in iTunes vouchers.
