Got a call from someone saying I’d had boiler maintenance with them before. They wanted to confirm my info, saying it's important to keep boilers in shape for winter. Annoyingly, they got past my call blocker. When I told them that was funny since I don’t even have a boiler, the caller just said they’d update my records and then hung up. I’ve never had any boiler service; I always use my own bloke to check my immersion heater.

Got a call from some heating firm saying my boiler warranty ran out and they were offering a free check-up or something. Thing is, my warranty's still valid and I don't even know these people. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
