2 yearsRight after I asked them how they found my number since it’s supposed to be unlisted, they just put the phone down. Total scumbags.2 yearsHad this woman ring me for the fourth time now, still reading from some script like a robot. I told her straight up I’m sick of her constant calls and she’s basically a scammer, then told her to jog on. She just kept on yakking, sticking to her script like it was gospel. These lot are such a pain, seriously they should get off their backsides and find a proper job instead of bothering folks all day.2 yearsI chose not to pick up, and there was no voicemail left either. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.2 yearsI've been getting recorded messages on my landline from this number, claiming I need to "renew a security service" that I apparently signed up for back in 2017 or 2018, allegedly costing me £800, as per the initial message I received on Saturday, 4th May 2024. Then, just today, 7th May, I got another call insisting I pay a renewal fee of £999 for the same service. They provided a number, 0800 066 8324, for me to either renew or cancel this supposed request. This is the third time this company has reached out to me. I haven’t engaged with them at all, as I’ve never had any prior dealings with them nor have I ever forked out that kind of money from my bank account or credit card. Strangely, they claim to have my email address but haven't bothered to reach out that way. I've flagged this with my bank, and they've suggested it looks like a scam. They'll keep an eye out for any suspicious activity in my account.2 yearsThat same lady rang me again, can’t believe it’s the fourth time now. She was clearly just reading from a script about some insulation scam. I got so annoyed, I ended up shouting at her, told her I’m sick of her constant calls and that she’s a scammer, so just bugger off. But she just kept going on, reading that same script like a robot. Honestly, these people are such a pain, they really should stop wasting time and get a proper job instead of harassing folks like this.2 yearsGot a call offering a free loft insulation check, sounded like one of those scams but I thought I’d see what it was about. Turned out to be legit, no sneaky charges or anything. Just a quick survey, nothing dodgy. Glad I took a chance on it!2 yearsThis dude keeps ringing me even tho I told him not to and I'm on the TPS list. He kept saying something like "I'm from the energy advice team...." but still just won't leave me alone. Proper annoying!Telephone Preference Service2 yearsGot a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I just ignored it. Then I checked it out on this site and decided to block it. Cheers to Who Called Me for the help!2 yearsGot one of those loft insulation dodges again. I’m on the TPS list but they still called. Just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.2 yearsThey called me but didn’t say anything on my voicemail, then half an hour later they rang again but the number was off by just one number.2 yearsI picked up and there was total quiet on the other end, so I just went ahead and blocked the number.2 yearsSo this lady called and stayed quiet for like a whole minute, then suddenly asked if I'd had any inspector visit recently and wanted to know my age range too. I just told her she must have dialled the wrong number and ended the call.2 yearsGot another call with nobody speaking, probably one of those dodgy numbers again.2 yearsNever picked up since I didn’t know the number and no voicemail was left. It’s been blocked now.2 yearsGot a call from someone about free loft insulation checks. The person on the phone had really bad English and got quite rude when I told them I wasn’t interested.Submit Your Own Report (020 8072 9925)
