The background din was absolutely overwhelming! It was clearly a call centre. The voice on the end had a distinct foreign twang and he started prattling on about some so-called "small car accident", which frankly, I've never experienced. It struck me as a ploy to fish for my banking information, especially when they requested my bank details under the pretense of wanting to transfer some insurance payout. Quite the dodgy tactic, I’d say!
