I received a call from someone claiming to represent Currys PC World, but their heavy accent made it really difficult to grasp what they were going on about. It was patently clear it was a dodgy call, especially since I've never had any business with Currys PC World.

On the 5th of August, 2023, at precisely 11:57 in the morning, my phone rang from this number. Naturally, I did a bit of digging and discovered that it’s possibly linked to scammers. I chose to ignore the call right away, as it seemed quite dodgy from the very beginning.

When I picked up the phone, it was as if I were speaking to thin air; nobody was there. As soon as I said hello, the call simply disconnected. It felt quite odd, really.
