I received a call from this number which I promptly ignored and subsequently blocked. However, I've just been contacted again from a very similar number, differing only by the last two digits - 23 instead of 13. This time, I decided to answer, only to be met with a cacophony of indistinct chatter. It felt like I was connected to some sort of call centre. I didn’t let them get a word in and simply remarked, “Another dodgy call, is it?” They swiftly hung up on me, and when I attempted to ring them back, it informed me the number was no longer in service. Honestly, it’s best to just steer clear of these sorts of calls altogether - a quick block is your best option!

It seems that the call came from my service provider. When I inquired about their identity, they dodged the question and rambled on about some archaic pre-network connections. Honestly, give me a break! I ended the call when the noise level from their end became unbearable.
