Received a call purporting to be from HMRC, claiming there was a warrant for my arrest. They insisted I press 1 if I wished to halt any proceedings. Upon answering, they asked for my name, despite me pointing out that they had initiated the call. When I repeated my response, the unpleasant, aggressive woman on the line began to berate me, telling me to F*** off. I was utterly appalled by the disgraceful behaviour of this so-called representative. If it had been someone not as savvy, it could have caused them a great deal of anxiety.
