I must say, it’s rather vexing how they persistently bombard me with calls-sometimes as many as eight in a single day! I've blocked each number they've used, yet they somehow find new ones to ring me from. It’s becoming entirely unbearable!

I received a rather unexpected phone call while I was residing in the Netherlands. I didn't take any notes during the conversation, as the chap on the other end was quite insistent. He seemed to be some sort of sales representative, attempting to persuade me about investment opportunities that promised to be lucrative.
