Kept ringing but no one picked up.

It started with them asking for my full name, date of birth, and address, saying I’d just won some kind of prize from Aldi. Then suddenly they were pushing me to join a "EuroMillions lottery syndicate." Proper dodgy if you ask me.

They kept pushing me to listen to some rubbish about winning the lottery, and when I tried to hang up nicely, the person suddenly got all annoyed.

Today I received a call claiming they would send an email with info but then asked for my bank details, which I refused to share. This sort of thing should be looked into properly because calling people out of the blue like that could be risky. OFCOM really ought to step in and check what's going on.

Got a call from someone saying I’d won a spot in a Euromillions syndicate free draw. They asked me to choose some numbers and then wanted to know which bank I used. I wouldn’t share that info, and they just cut the call. The odd thing is, this started right after I did a survey I found via a YouTube ad. The ad promised entry into a chance to win £1000 worth of Makita tools if you completed the survey.

I got a call from 02080685825 out of the blue while I was having dinner. The caller started asking for my bank info, claiming I’d won some lottery. What creeped me out was that they already knew my real name, address, and even my email. No idea how they got all that info. The voice didn’t sound British, more like Indian, judging by the accent. Definitely felt like a scam, and it’s left me feeling pretty uneasy. Please make sure someone reports this! 😞

Got a call from someone who claimed they worked for the Lottery, said I’d won free tickets for the upcoming draw. Then they started asking for my bank info. This came after I’d been entered into some Aldi voucher competition that I thought was legit. Not sure if Aldi is sharing info, or if it’s been hacked, or if it’s just a complete con! Whatever the case, don’t ever hand over your bank details, folks.

Somebody rang me asking if so-and-so was there, saying I’d won some kind of lottery and not to miss out on the chance. I told them I never entered anything like that, then I blocked the number. Before long, another phone number popped up, probably the same bloke trying again.

I got a call about some Tesco voucher, where they tried to get my details, then started talking about the EuroMillions draw happening tonight, asked for my sort code and account number or something like that. I told them I didn’t have that info on me, then they asked again if I could give it, but I was at work and didn’t have the details with me. After that, they just ended the call!

my Samsung A12 flagged the number as possibly scam so I chose not to pick up. Then I headed over to "who-called" to check it out. Big thanks to the WC community for shedding some light on it, be careful folks!

They said they’d send me an email about this lottery subscription that costs around £40 a month, but I never gave them my email. Still, they kept calling me over and over. Quite annoying really.

I got a call really early, like 4.50 in the morning, asking me to choose numbers for a lottery ticket. Not impressed at all, especially since I'm permanently on crutches and have hearing difficulties due to a disability. It's a bit much to ring someone so early who’s got these challenges.

I've received a couple of calls from this number, and the caller seemed to mention something about a lottery. However, the really alarming part was that my phone seemed to auto-dial back the number. Thankfully, I managed to hang up before the system took over entirely. I'd strongly recommend blocking this number immediately!

I've been inundated with calls claiming I've snagged a prize. Each time they ring, I politely let them know I'm not keen. Yet, they relentlessly persist, insisting that all they require are just a couple of details!

So this lady keeps ringing me and even though I say multiple times that I’m not interested, she just goes on like “listen, mam”. Honestly, can’t get her to understand I’m not up for it. It’s getting a bit much.

Claimed he was representing a lottery organisation. I was quite occupied preparing dinner for the little one I look after and anxiously awaiting a call from the hospital, so I mistakenly thought it might be them! I informed him I wasn’t keen and that I was preoccupied with my duties, cooking for the child I care for, yet he just wouldn’t take no for an answer. He kept saying, “I completely get that, madam, but how about I give you a ring back later?” I reiterated my stance, but he persisted with the idea of a callback, so I firmly said, “I’m not interested!!” and ended the call. Absolutely absurd!

Yesterday and today alone, I got calls from this number like four times. I just ignore them cause I’ve got no ties or anyone I know in London, so no idea why they keep ringing me.
