Got a call today at about 10:10 am, picked up and the bloke on the other end started telling me about some new company he wanted to introduce. Sounded like a sales pitch right away, so I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Best not to pick up the phone cause that just lets them know your number's live and then they’ll keep pestering you non stop. Just go ahead and block the number instead. Big thanks to the people behind this site, really appreciate it.

Much like another review I saw, this number rang me, and when I picked up and said "Hello" a few times waiting for a response, a recorded voice abruptly said "Goodbye" and then cut the call. I tried calling back, and was greeted by a woman with a strong accent - possibly Dutch - who said "Welcome to Welfare Group..." She prompted me to press "1" to talk to someone or leave my number if I wanted off their list. But pressing "1" didn’t connect me to any live person, and there was no clear way to actually leave my details for removal. The whole message kept looping non-stop. Not wanting to waste my money waiting to see if anyone might eventually answer, I just ended the call. Feels like either a telemarketing scheme or maybe some sort of phone billing scam to me.
