Got a call this morning from a bloke with a foreign accent. I know the voice - been dealing with nonstop pestering for over a year from a big crypto scam gang, the same lot whose leader’s currently locked up in a US jail for huge fraud. When I dial back, all I get is music... they’re onto it. Whenever the ringing starts, I just keep quiet for a bit. If it’s that annoying caller, I put on some music to “brighten their mood” a bit... they hang up pretty quick. Best not to get involved. It just messes with your mood.

i got two calls this morning and usually it’s the same every morning. i never pick up unknown numbers. i screen all my calls. obviously they don’t leave a voicemail. to me this feels like harassment. no idea how risky it really is but reading other comments it’s not looking good. you’d think the phone companies would be more on top of this. we pay for our services and expect them to look after us. seems like they’re just like the politicians, everywhere you go. getting paid but not doing their job! feeling really let down and annoyed.

Somebody rang asking for me by name, said they were from a rubbish clearance firm and that they'd ring again in 20 mins.
