What a con! Someone pretending to be a vicar named "Charles White" attempted to order a whopping £75,000 worth of tech using a credit card, insisting on next-day delivery. When I let him know a cheque would be necessary, he abruptly ended the call. I tried ringing him back, and the same chap answered, sounding a bit flustered, only to hang up on me yet again. Oh, and the email he provided? Non-existent!

My phone rang at about 1pm, but it only went off around 7 or 8 times before the caller hung up, so I didn’t even get the chance to pick up.

This morning, I got a call which promptly disconnected as soon as I picked up. I tried ringing them back three times, but it seems they’ve now got me blocked. What a funny situation!

I just got a call from this number and the woman on the line was keen to discuss a road accident-something I’ve never experienced! She insisted she had details straight from the Road Traffic Department, which is quite amusing since such a department isn’t even a thing. Quite the bizarre encounter!

Received a phone call claiming I was implicated in a car crash. The recorded message sounded fairly convincing. I decided to end the call.

I got a rather peculiar phone call on my mobile regarding a crash I supposedly had a hand in. The truth, however, is that I have not been in any such incident. It was one of those automated recordings expertly masquerading as a real conversation - rather ridiculous, if I may say! This marks the second of these calls I've received in just three weeks, albeit from different numbers. I promptly blocked both of them.
