Received three calls from this number today, but each time I picked up, they just ended the call straight away.

I got a voicemail saying I should ring them back or else I'd be getting calls from solicitors, which really caught me off guard.

I got an automated call with an american voice saying there’s supposedly a case against me involving a Janet Woods. They mentioned 0208 0599481 and told me to call back to stop any legal trouble. Since I knew this was rubbish, I quickly looked up the number online. Cheers to everyone who’s reported this, it helped me figure it out quickly.

Had a call from this Indian bloke who kept grilling me with loads of questions, but the weird part was he never mentioned the company he was calling from. Usually, when they don’t say that, it’s a dead giveaway he was probably trying to scam me.

I got a call from someone saying they were with HMRC and that I was going to be arrested for tax evasion. They said if I paid up right then over the phone, the arrest threat would be dropped. Honestly, it was such a rubbish scam, HMRC doesn’t contact people like that at all.

I chose not to pick up and honestly, that was a good call! Got a call once from what turned out to be an HMRC scam - it was one of those automated messages with a robotic voice. I blocked the number and even reported it to HMRC, but seems like reporting doesn't really make a difference because the calls kept coming. Such a waste of time, really! Sigh.
